George Mason -- Two-time all-America soccer senior F Sam Sumo had cartilage in his right knee repaired and will be out two to four weeks. Virginia Military Institute -- Cocaptain Mark Stock, a wide receiver, punter and punt returner, is out indefinitely with broken right collar bone. Backup Greg Clifton had arthroscopic knee surgery yesterday, and FB Charles Plageman will miss Saturday's game with a knee injury.Prairie View A&M -- Fired Conway Hayman as football coach; named Janey Catchins interim coach.
