ATLANTA, JAN. 2 -- Freshman tailback Reggie Cobb ran for 146 yards and scored his second touchdown with 1:52 remaining today to help No. 16 Tennessee to a 27-22 victory over No. 20 Indiana in the Peach Bowl.

Cobb, who scored the Volunteers' first touchdown on a six-yard run, made up for two fumbles deep in Indiana territory with his efforts during his team's 40-yard drive in the closing minutes.

Tennessee (10-2-1) took over on the Indiana 40 trailing, 22-21, with 6:03 left after forcing the Hoosiers to punt. Cobb ran four times for 20 yards in the final drive and powered through several tacklers from nine yards out to put Tennessee ahead, 27-22.

Jeff Francis' pass for a two-point conversion failed.

After the Tennessee kickoff, linebacker Charles Kimbrough intercepted a Dave Schnell pass on the Indiana 42 with 1:10 left to clinch the victory.

Indiana (8-4) trailed, 21-3, in the second quarter before rallying for 19 straight points.
