Mark Bryant scored eight of his career-high 32 points in an 18-2 run late in the second half to lead the Pirates to a Big East Conference upset of the No. 6 Panthers.
Seton Hall (18-10, 6-7), relied on its defense as much as its offense in the late going, holding visiting Pittsburgh (19-4, 9-3) to just one basket in the final seven minutes in winning for the fifth time in six games.

Doug West notched 16 of his 18 points in the first half and Tom Greis also scored 18 to send the Wildcats to a victory in Philadelphia.
West shot six of seven from the floor in the first 20 minutes, including two of three from three-point territory, to help the Wildcats (18-9) to a 16-point halftime advantage.
John Rankin and Todd Lehmann had 14 each for the Dragons (18-7).
