Meadow Star, ridden by Jose Santos, remained undefeated in four career starts and extended her divisional dominance with a two-length victory yesterday in the $238,400 Spinaway Stakes at Saratoga Race Course in New York.

The 2-year-old filly covered six furlongs over a fast track in 1:10 1/5 in beating Garden Gal, with previously unbeaten Good Potential another length back in the field of eight. Sweet Sarita, She's A Shaker, Barbara's Nemesis, Headache Tree and Donttellthefluff completed the order of finish.

The Florida-bred Meadow Star earned $143,040 and returned $3.40, $2.20 and $2.10 as the favorite. Garden Gal paid $3 and $2.20 and Good Potential was worth $2.20.

Monmouth Park: In Oceanport, N.J., C.B. Benjamin's Jet Out rallied in the stretch, caught pacesetter Exclusive Khaley just before the wire and scored a neck-length victory in the $17,000 featured race.

Ridden by Luis Rivera, Jr., Jet Out covered the six-furlong tests in 1:10 2/5. The 3-year-old colt paid $10.40, $5.60, and $3.60.

Exclusive Khaley returned $7.80 and $4.20; Royal Slander finished third and was worth $2.60 for show.

Jet Out, trained by Joseph C. Catanese, was claimed by the trainer just three races ago for $12,500.

Arlington Million: The field for the 10th running of the race was virtually set with 11 scheduled starters and one on the fence.

Heading the lineup for the Sunday race at Arlington International Racecourse outside Chicago is Dan Wildenstein's Steinlen, who won the event a year ago.

The others are Alwuhush, Classic Fame, El Senor, Golden Pheasant, Pleasant Variety, Prized, Saratoga Passage, Ten Keys, With Approval and Double Booked.

All will represent the United States except for With Approval, Canada's horse of the year a year ago.

Secret N Classy, another Canadian, remains a possibility.
