Irad Young scored two goals and Eddie Beach from Yorktown High in Arlington added one as George Mason defeated Navy, 3-0, in a semifinal game of the Colonial Athletic Association soccer tournament last night in Richmond.
The Patriots will play the winner of the game between American and Richmond in Sunday's 2 p.m. championship.

The Patriots are 14-4-3, after a game against Florida International, which was played earlier in the season, was forfeited because FIU used an ineligible player. According to the ISAA, the governing body for collegiate soccer, the Patriots are awarded a 1-0 forfeit victory.
N.C. State 3, Clemson 1: In Durham, N.C., North Carolina State scored two goals on free kicks and defeated top-ranked Clemson to advance to the final of the Atlantic Coast Conference men's tournament.
Roy Lassiter and Dario Brose scored goals in the first half for 13th-ranked N.C. State and ACC player of the year Henry Gutierrez scored with less than six minutes remaining.
Clemson (16-3-1) had been unbeaten for nine games. The Tigers got their goal on Chris Martinez's penalty kick at 43:33.
Brose's free kick came at the 13:11 mark after Lassiter had put the Wolfpack up, 1-0, at 4:55 on a pass from Gutierrez. Gutierrez scored on a free kick at 84:28.
