Henry Moten had 19 points and Valentine Igwe had 15 points and seven rebounds for the Firebirds. Queens was led by Charles Fullwood's 16 points.
Montgomery-Rockville 119, Catonsville 100: Jay Phillips scored 36 points and Juan Wallace 17 to lead the Knights (3-3) in Rockville. Catonsville (2-5) was led by Ladual Williams, who had 32 points.
Salisbury State 72, Catholic 54: Andre Foreman scored 25 points and was named tournament MVP in leading the Seagulls (6-2) to the championship of the Gull Tournament in Salisbury. Catholic (2-6) was led by Jay Jackson, who scored 16 points and was named to the all-tournament team.
Husson 90, Columbia Union 89: Raymond Alley scored nine of his 30 points in overtime as Husson won the first-round game of the St. Thomas Aquinas tournament in Spark Hill, N.Y. Columbia Union (2-4) was led by Damon Allen's 27 points.
Loyola-Maryland 85, Sam Houston State 72: Kevin Green scored 28 points as Loyola of Baltimore built a 25-point second-half lead and held on in the consolation game of the Longhorn Classic in Austin, Tex. Kevin Anderson had 19 points for Loyola. Loyola improved to 3-4, and Sam Houston State fell to 1-6.

Mont.-Germantown 99, Mont.-Takoma Park 75: In Germantown, Rob Moxley made four of seven three-point shots and finished with 20 points to lead the Gryphons (5-4). They shot 11 for 19 on three-pointers. Takoma (2-3) was led by Keith Morris, who had 26 points, followed by Greg Rex with 24.
St. Mary's 101, Capitol 81: The Seahawks (4-5) got 18 points from Quinton Hillsman and 17 from Jason Slaughter at Capitol. Chris Dixon led the Chargers (4-6) with 27 points and Shane Smith had 23.
East Tennessee State 68, James Madison 65: Keith Jennings's 17 points led the victory in Harrisonburg, Va.
The Buccaneers (6-1) led by 38-35 at halftime and did not trail in the second half. The Dukes (2-2) got to 60-59 on Jeff Chambers's layup with 4:58 to play but trailed by seven with 2:23 to go.
Gallaudet 75, Philadelphia Pharmacy 74: Anthony Jones scored 25 points and Brian Bippus 24 in the victory at Gallaudet.
Marymount 80, Greensboro College 78: Pierre Gardner made a jump shot with one second to play to break for the win in the consolation game of the Wild Goose Classic at Washington College in Chestertown, Md. The Arlington school scored the game's last 10 points and improved to 2-5.
Bowie State 77, Clarion 63: Bowie State's victory (5-5) over Clarion (5-2) gave it five victories earlier than anytime in seven years. Rayford Young led with 24 points.
