Arkansas 79, Maryland 68: Blair Savage's 21 points led the No. 9 Razorbacks in the consolation game of the Holiday Tournament Classic in Piscataway, N.J.

After a 38-38 haltime tie, the Razorbacks pulled away with an 11-4 run. Aluma Goren scored 19 points for Maryland (5-5).

Diamond Classic: George Mason defeated Virginia Tech, 57-56, to win the tournament in Blacksburg. The Hokies dropped to 1-7. Senior Jerolyn Weathersby led the Patriots (5-5) with 16 points and eight rebounds. Senior Antoinette Battle (13 points) was tournament MVP.

Penn St. 93, American 56: Helen Holloway had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the No. 5 Nittany Lions (8-0) at Bender Arena. Kristin Hirschler and Felicia Young each had 17 points for American (4-7).

James Madison 75, UCLA 69: In Los Angeles, Vicki Harris scored 23 points to help the Dukes (8-2) gain their sixth straight victory.

The Bruins' Rehema Stephens had 39 points -- the fifth time in six games she scored at least 33.
