Felicia Oliver scored 17 points to lead Howard University to a 73-63 women's college basketball victory over Cheyney University last night at Burr Gymnasium.

The Bison (6-7) gained a 43-25 halftime lead, then held on despite being outscored by 38-30 in the second half.

Cheyney (5-10) was paced by Cherie Jarmon's 18 points and 12 rebounds.

Navy 69, Lehigh 47: In Annapolis, the Midshipmen (11-5) tied the school record of consecutive wins in a season -- eight. They were led by sophomore Kim Drayton, who scored 19 points, followed by Angie Dobbs with 14 and Kim Cowling with 10. Navy held Lehigh to 16 first-half points and forced 14 turnovers.

Delaware State 65, Bowie State 43: Jackie Campbell had 22 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks in Dover, Del. Delaware State improved to 7-9. The Bulldogs (4-9) were led by Valerie Curtis, who scored 16 points.

Salisbury St. 80, Catholic 78: Jennifer Boone had 25 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the Seagulls at Catholic. Vicki Miller added 17 points and 11 assists for Salisbury (8-8).

Chris Pelli led the Cardinals (4-11) with 30 points and 12 rebounds, and Suzanne Gould added 16 and 10.

Mont.-Rockville 51, Harford CC 44: Marsha Segura scored 22 points to lead the Knights (2-13) at Harford, north of Baltimore. Rockville's Brigitte Karger added 16 points and 12 rebounds. Harford (1-4) was led by Laura Dougherty's 20 points.
