Jacksonville University basketball coach Hugh Durham blamed poor refereeing for a brawl that caused an early end to a game against the Gold Coast Warriors in Australia. Durham pulled his team out with 15 minutes left in Thursday's game at Southport after a bench-clearing brawl erupted with Gold Coast leading 60-54.

"The fact that it got to the point that it did is indicative of just how out of hand things got with the officials not stepping in to calm things down," Durham said. "I decided to remove my players for their own safety."
