Kathleen Blaszak

Flint Hill, junior

A repeat All-Met, No. 1 Blaszak has a career 21-0 record for the Oakton private school and is the two-time defending singles champion in the Independent School League A division. Blaszak, who lost only one game last season, is currently ranked third in USTA Mid-Atlantic singles and 42nd nationally in18-and-under singles.

Nicole Falls

Maret, sophomore

In her freshman season, Falls played No. 1 and led the Northwest Washington private school with a 12-1 record. Her only loss was to All-Met Kathleen Blaszak of Flint Hill. She is currently ranked 22nd in 14-and-under Mid-Atlantic singles.

Kristen James

Centreville, sophomore

James posted a 20-5 record at No. 2 singles last season and teamed with sister Laura to capture the Virginia AAA doubles championship. She is ranked No. 1 in Mid-Atlantic 14-and-under singles and 24th nationally in 16-and-under singles.

Laura James

Centreville, senior

A three-time All-Met, James finished as Virginia AAA singles runnerup. James has an 83-5 career singles record and teamed with sister Kristen to win the AAA state doubles title last season. She is ranked fifth in Mid-Atlantic 18-and-under singles.

Mary Kovarik

Madison, junior

At No. 2 singles, Kovarik went 19-1 last season and teamed with Katie Ruckert to reach the finals of the Virginia AAA doubles championship. Kovarik is ranked No. 5 in Mid-Atlantic 16-and-under singles and No. 6 in 18-and-under singles.

Katy Milkman

Sidwell Friends, senior

Alternating between the top two spots last season, Milkman led the Northwest Washington school with a 12-2 record. Milkman's only defeats were to four-time All-Met Samantha Gingold of National Cathedral. She is currently ranked fourth in Mid-Atlantic 18-and-under singles.

Van-Anh Nguyen

Langley, senior

Nguyen led the Saxons with a 17-2 record last season and fell one match short of qualifying for the Virginia AAA state tournament. She is currently ranked ninth in Mid-Atlantic 18-and-under singles.

Kristin Roth

Sherwood, senior

A repeat All-Met, Roth is the defending Montgomery County singles champion and led the Sandy Spring school with a 12-2 record. She has a 48-5 career record.

Katie Ruckert

Madison, junior

A two-time All-Met and last season's Player of the Year, Ruckert is the defending Virginia AAA singles champion. She went 23-1 last season and has a 47-3 career record at No. 1 singles. She is currently ranked seventh nationally in 16-and-under singles and No. 1 in Mid-Atlantic in both the 16- and 18-and-under singles divisions.

Ashleigh Woods

Wilson, senior

Woods captured the D.C. public school's title last season and finished with a 9-0 record. She is currently ranked 17th in Mid-Atlantic 18-and-under singles.
