Falcons QB Chris Chandler isn't expected to play Sunday against the Ravens after aggravating a strained hamstring last week, the team said.

Tony Graziani likely will get the start and try to prevent last season's NFC champions from dropping to 0-4. He replaced Chandler last week in St. Louis and connected on 14 of 22 passes for one touchdown and 152 yards.

The Falcons are also expected to be without WR Tim Dwight, who suffered a strained hamstring in last week's game.

* BRACE YOURSELF: Saints rookie RB Ricky Williams's hyperextended elbow will keep him out of Sunday's game against the Bears "unless there's an unbelievable change," Coach Mike Ditka said. Ditka said he made the decision after reading comments Williams made to reporters, telling them the brace he wears makes it hard to feel the ball or switch hands. . . . The Browns put S Tim McTyer was on injured reserve. He broke his left forearm two weeks ago.

* KICKING IN: Packers P Josh Bidwell could amass more than $100,000 in medical bills as he recovers from testicular cancer, and teammates and schoolchildren want to help him.

Bidwell is ineligible for NFL medical benefits because he was never on the active roster, although he punted in preseason games.

Teammates have contributed about $50,000 to help out the fourth-round draft pick, and a group of middle school students in Appleton is holding a car wash to raise money for Bidwell and the American Cancer Society.
