Potomac Falls junior quarterback Jason Treon scored on a seven-yard touchdown run with 2 minutes 22 seconds remaining to give the Panthers a come-from-behind 22-18 victory at Loudoun Valley in a Virginia AA Northwestern District game.

Trailing 18-15, Treon faked a handoff to senior running back Ike Hamilton, rolled to his right on a bootleg and darted into the end zone untouched.

"They expected Ike to take it up the gut," Treon said. "Instead I took it outside. It was a good call by coach."

Loudoun Valley (3-3, 0-3) had a final chance to win, but running back Cory Austin was stopped at the Potomac Falls 12 by cornerback Tommy Edwards as the clock expired.

Treon's score completed Potomac Falls's (4-2, 2-1) rally from an 18-0 halftime deficit. Hamilton, who carried 16 times for 74 (72 coming in the second half), rushed for touchdowns of five and four yards to bring the Panthers to 18-15.

Ben Cross rushed 18 times for 99 yards and a touchdown for Loudoun Valley, which controlled the first half.

* CULPEPER 28, STAFFORD 18: Culpeper quarterback Mike Jenkins completed 11 of 17 passes for 206 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Blue Devils in a AAA Commonwealth District game in Stafford. Nine of Jenkins's completions and all three touchdown passes went to wide receiver Terence Dinkins, who racked up 165 yards receiving.

Culpeper (7-0) led 21-3 at halftime, getting a 10-yard touchdown run by Brandon Jones, and Jenkins-to-Dinkins touchdown passes of 53 and 30 yards. Stafford (3-3) closed to 21-10 in the fourth quarter when Dural Dawson, who rushed for 113 yards on 13 carries, punched in a 14-yard run. But Jenkins hooked up with Dinkins for the third time to put the game out of reach midway through the fourth quarter. Jones had 93 yards on 12 carries.

* ROBINSON 28, WEST POTOMAC 19: Robinson sophomore running back Mike Imoh rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries and caught a third touchdown to lead the No. 13 Rams (6-0, 3-0) in a AAA Patriot District game in Fairfax.

West Potomac (3-3, 0-3), which dropped its third straight, accumulated 367 yards total offense but turned the ball over three times and failed to convert two fourth downs in Robinson territory.

The Wolverines made the game interesting in the fourth quarter when, trailing 28-7, Tony Hooks scored on a 10-yard touchdown run. One play after West Potomac recovered an onside kick, Jerry Harris caught a 44-yard touchdown pass from Will Drew with 3:56 remaining. A second onside-kick attempt was unsuccessful, and Robinson ran out the clock.

Imoh caught a 39-yard touchdown pass from Garrett Schires and rushed for touchdowns of 10 and 18 yards to give Robinson a 21-7 halftime lead.
