JaJuan Seider completed 30 of 45 passes for 295 yards and ran for 115 yards on 17 carries to lead Florida A&M to a 65-18 rout of Southern, ranked third in Division I-AA, last night in Tallahassee.

Seider rushed for two touchdowns and passed for three more. The Rattlers (7-2) opened with a seven-play, 75-yard scoring drive and overwhelmed the Jaguars (8-1). Florida A&M's 35 first-quarter points tied the school record for most points in a quarter.

BETHUNE-COOKMAN 34, HAMPTON 27: Pa'Tell Troutman threw for three touchdowns and ran for two others, including the game-winner in overtime, to propel Bethune-Cookman in Daytona Beach, Fla. Bethune-Cookman, now 7-0 in overtime games in the 1990s, is 6-3 overall (3-3 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Hampton is 6-4, 4-3.

NORFOLK ST. 20, MORGAN ST. 16: Damien Smith scored the go-ahead touchdown with 9 minutes 28 seconds remaining as host Norfolk State (2-7, 1-6) rallied to overcome a 13-0 first-quarter lead by Morgan State (2-6, 0-6).

NORTH CAROLINA A&T 24, DELAWARE ST. 13: In Greensboro, N.C., Romando North scored on a 98-yard kickoff return to spark the Aggies (8-1, 6-0). Delaware State is 3-6, 3-3.
