Tonight, 7:30: No. 4 Fairfax finished the regular season unbeaten for the third time this decade en route to claiming the Liberty District title. RB Brandon Royster (1,611 yds, 19 TDs) led the Rebels to a district-high 25.2 points per game. Centreville, the two-time Concorde District champion, is yielding a district-low 8.1 ppg.
West Potomac (6-4) at South Lakes (7-3)
Tonight, 7:30: West Potomac, the defending Patriot District champion, won its last two regular season games to finish the season with a winning record for the 16th straight season. South Lakes, which was winless last season, makes its first playoff appearance since 1991.
Gar-Field (8-2) at Hylton (10-0)
Tonight, 7:30: Second meeting between the schools this season. In first, Hylton, the defending AAA Division 6 champion, rallied from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to edge the Dale City school, 17-16, in overtime. Hylton enters with a 26-game winning streak.
North Stafford (9-1)
at George Washington-Danville (8-2)
Tonight, 7:30: North Stafford senior QB Chris Ashinhurst (2,907 yards passing, 26 TDs) needs 108 passing yards to become the state's all-time passing leader for a season. Brian Partlow passed for 3,014 yards for Handley in 1994. Junior WR Nate Ilaoa (72 catches, 1,190 yards) needs one yard to set the AAA mark for yards receiving in a season.
E.C. Glass (6-4) at Culpeper (10-0)
Tonight, 7:30: No. 11 Culpeper won its fourth straight AAA Commonwealth District title by finishing the regular season unbeaten for the first time in school history.
Loudoun County (7-3) at Park View (10-0)
Saturday, 1:30: Led by QB Nick Smith (1,138 passing yards, 19 TDs), No. 5 Park View scored a state-high 404 points this season and yielded only 46.
