Rangers RW Valeri Kamensky will miss at least another week with a stress fracture in his right arm that has kept him out the majority of the season.

The Rangers also could be without LW Eric Lacroix for an extended period of time. He injured his right knee during the Rangers' 5-4 win over the Capitals Thursday night.

Kamensky, one of the Rangers' many free agent signings this summer, injured his arm during the season opener against the Oilers.

Lacroix, who recently returned from a broken right hand, left midway through the second period Thursday with a sprained right knee.

* DEALS: RW Joe Murphy, who has scored 20 or more goals in seven of his 10 full NHL seasons, signed a one-year contract with the Bruins. . . . The Blackhawks acquired C Michael Nylander from the Lightning for Ds Bryan Muir and Reid Simpson. They also signed C Mark Bell, the eighth overall pick in the 1998 draft, to a three-year contract. . . .

The Flames claimed veteran D Bobby Dollas off waivers from Ottawa, two days after the Senators signed him as a free agent.
