Line: Redskins by 6.

The Redskins were as efficient as it gets in their 50-21 triumph on Sept. 19 at Giants Stadium. RB Stephen Davis ran for 126 yards and three TDs, and QB Brad Johnson went 20 for 28 with three TDs. The Giants have CB Jason Sehorn back in the lineup, but still are beat up in the secondary. The Redskins picked on reserve CB Jeremy Lincoln mercilessly in the first meeting.

Key Matchup

Redskins RT Jon Jansen vs. Giants DE Michael Strahan

Jansen got the better of the matchup in his second NFL game, and Strahan has made no secret of the fact that he's looking for revenge.

The league's lowest-ranked defense kept the Giants relatively in check the last time, with LB Shawn Barber providing an interception return for a TD. The Giants have the NFL's 22nd-ranked offense and have scored more than 20 points only three times in nine games this season. They average only 91.4 rushing yards per game. If QB Kent Graham struggles, the Giants may turn to backup Kerry Collins.

Key Matchup

Redskins CBs Darrell Green and Champ Bailey vs. Giants WRs Amani Toomer and Ike Hilliard

Toomer and Hilliard each topped 100 receiving yards in the first game, although much of it came in garbage time. Green has looked a step slow at times this season, and Bailey has mixed great plays with rookie mistakes.

The Redskins surrendered two long kickoff returns to the Eagles last week, but P Matt Turk perhaps began to emerge from his season-long slump. James Thrash shares kickoff-return duties with Brian Mitchell today. The Giants' Tiki Barber is averaging 12.9 yards per punt return, second-best in the NFC.
