Saying he didn't remember much about Sunday's game in Oakland, Seahawks CB Chris Canty reported to work at the team's headquarters still feeling the effects of a concussion on a scary play.

"Man, I can't relate too much about yesterday," Canty said. "The whole day was kind of blurry. I'm still sort of in a daze."

Canty was knocked unconscious when he was hit on the helmet by teammate Chad Brown's forearm when both were trying to tackle Raiders running back Napoleon Kaufman. He was strapped to a body board and taken from the field on a cart.

INJURIES: Giants CB Jason Sehorn was lost for the season with a broken left leg and starting C Brian Williams probably will be out three weeks after spraining his left knee in a 41-28 win over the Jets on Sunday. . . . WR Leslie Shepherd was placed on injured reserve yesterday by the Browns. Shepherd was inactive for Cleveland's last three games with a calf injury.

CARRUTH POSTS BOND: Panthers WR Rae Carruth posted a $3 million bond last night, nearly 12 days after he was arrested on charges he plotted to kill his pregnant girlfriend. The Panthers said the release of Carruth, who was arrested Nov. 25, would not make him eligible to rejoin the team.

Carruth was released about five hours after he and three other men were indicted by a Charlotte-Mecklenburg County grand jury for conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, attempted murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle.
