Highlights: Four-year starter has a goal and three assists for the Falcons (2-1). Center was leading scorer his sophomore year with 13 goals and nine assists, and was second-leading scorer last season with 14 goals and eight assists. "He's a great playmaker. ... He comes up with big assists and big goals," Coach Andy Collins said.

Notable: Named All-Met honorable mention his junior year. Plays club hockey for the Montgomery County Blue Devils Midget A team, which won the Philadelphia Regional Silver Sticks tournament in September. In January, the team will travel to the tournament finals in Ontario to play other regional winners from the United States and Canada.

Personal: Has 4.2 weighted grade-point average, scored 1350 on the SAT and is a member of the National Honor Society. Awarded Good Counsel Merit Scholarship his freshman year. Volunteers at Forest Knolls Elementary, a school for the physically challenged, and has volunteered the past two summers at the Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind.

CHANELLE SIRMONS

Year: Senior

Highlights: Anchor on relay team that placed second in 4x400 meters at last week's Pangea Invitational in Baltimore, a meet that featured 39 schools and one Russian team; Central girls finished second. Last year Sirmons captured Maryland 3A/2A state title at 300 meters.

Notable: Has run outdoor and indoor track four years. All-Met honorable mention junior year, indoors and outdoors. Prince George's County champion at 400 meters outdoors junior year. Runner-up at Maryland 2A state meet outdoors at 400 and 200 meters last year.

Personal: Carries 3.71 grade-point average. Member of Central's International baccalaureate program, which consists of rigorous pre-college curriculum. Teaches elementary school children through History and Mentorship in Science Program. Would like to attend Temple, Mississippi State or N.C. State.
