Outlook: Westfield (6-0, 1-0 AAA Concorde) is the first team with a winning record Chantilly (5-1, 0-0) has faced this season. Behind the direction of QB Sean Glennon (1,019 yards, 17 TDs, 3 INTs) and WR Eddie Royal (21 rec., 503 yards, 10 TDs), the Bulldogs have outscored their opponents, 258-53, and are ranked eighth in the state among Div. 6 schools in power points ratings (13.9). RBs Anthony Cordero and Marcus Bartley must play well for Chantilly.

Madison at South Lakes

Outlook: Reigning AAA Liberty District champion Madison (5-1, 2-1) has scored a district-best 146 points behind QB Johnny Ayers (622 yards passing, 7 TDs, 1 INT) and RBs Carl Gravette, Andrew Baird and Omar Hashish. Meantime, Madison's defense has yielded 5.3 points per game. South Lakes (4-2, 3-1) will rely on senior DE David Lansdowne (33 tackles, nine sacks) to slow down the Warhawks.

Colonial Forge at Stafford

Outlook: The winner will move into sole possession of first place in the AAA Commonwealth District. Stafford (7-1, 3-0) is coming off a 24-7 victory against six-time reigning district champion Culpeper and has reeled off seven straight since dropping a 20-14 decision to the Eagles in the season opener. First-year starting RB Thomas McClelland (school-record 1,339 yards, 20 TDs) has Stafford off to its best start since going 8-1-1 in 1969.

No. 9 Gar-Field

at No. 4 Hylton

Outlook: Hylton (6-0, 3-0 AAA Cardinal) could all but secure the district championship with a ninth consecutive victory over the Indians (5-1, 2-1), a team the Bulldogs beat, 22-12, on Sept. 28. The game features the two speediest quarterbacks in Prince William County -- Hylton's Jeff Overton and Gar-Field's Elihu Smith, seniors who have seven rushing touchdowns apiece. The game was moved to Saturday because of wet field conditions.

No. 6 Gonzaga

vs. St. John's at Blair High

Outlook: This game marks the 75th anniversary of the teams' first meeting. Gonzaga (6-0, 3-0 Washington Catholic Athletic Conference) has lost to the Cadets (3-3, 2-1) only three times since 1981 and holds a 38-32-3 edge in the all-time series. Gonzaga's leading rusher, Jeff Anderson (444 yards), returns after missing two games with a knee injury. The Eagles' senior LBs Korey Gedin (45 tackles) and Brendan Callahan (42) have been solid. St. John's DT Conrad Bolston is among the area's top linemen.
