Defending Virginia AAA shot put champion goes after the state record of 65 feet 3/4 inches after finishing the indoor season ranked second in the nation with a put of 63-7.

Maryland 4A/3A 55-meter dash champion also ran on the Lions' nationally ranked 4x200 and 4x400 relays and was fourth in last year's 4A 100-meter dash.

Andria Smallwood, Ballou, Fr.

Led the Knights to the DCIAA championship by winning the 300, 500 and 1,000; was also runner-up in the 800 (2:12.52) at the Nike Indoor Championships.

Deyon Williams, Suitland, Sr.

Area's top indoor long jumper while also playing basketball. He won last year's Maryland 4A state 300-meter hurdles and was second in the 110 hurdles and long jump.
