* Where: MCI Center.

* When: 7 p.m.

* Radio: WRC-1260.

* Records: Mystics 1-1; Sparks 0-1.

* Notable: The Mystics come home for their third game in four days to open the season. The MCI Center floor wasn't so kind to them in their Saturday opener, when a late call on an apparent shot-clock violation didn't go their way in a 71-68 loss to Charlotte. Washington bounced back on the road Sunday night when Chamique Holdsclaw's layup with 10 seconds left lifted the Mystics to a 68-67 win at Indiana. . . . Holdsclaw had 17 points and 10 rebounds against the Fever and is averaging 21 points her first two games. . . . Mystics rookie Alana Beard is averaging 10.5 points. . . . The Sparks, WNBA finalists last season after going 24-10, lost their opener, 93-67, on Saturday at Seattle. It was their first season-opening loss in seven years. Los Angeles shot just 36.5 percent in the loss. . . . As part of Military Night, all military personnel attending the game tonight can receive a discounted lower-level ticket for $10 or upper-level seat for $5 by showing their military ID at the box office or by wearing their uniform. All military personnel in attendance (wearing their uniform or showing a form of military ID) also will receive a free regular soda.

* Tickets: Available.
