Blue Jays 1B Carlos Delgado said he's ready to return to the lineup today against Seattle.

Delgado, on a rehabilitation assignment with Class AAA Syracuse, planned to play in last night's game against Indianapolis before his return to Toronto.

Delgado has played in 49 games for the Blue Jays this season, hitting .227 before a rib cage injury sidelined him for the past five weeks. He has 40 hits, 8 home runs and 32 RBI.

* REDS' RECALL: The Reds recalled C Corky Miller from Class AAA Louisville to fill the roster spot vacated by the injured Sean Casey.

Casey was placed on the 15-day disabled list after Sunday's game, retroactive to June 28, with a strained right calf. He was injured running out a single on June 27.

This is Miller's third stint with the Reds this season.

* INDIANS' OPTIONS: The Indians activated OF Ryan Ludwick and C Josh Bard from the disabled list and optioned them to Class AAA Buffalo.

To make room on the 40-man roster, the club designated LHP Scott Stewart for assignment and transferred RHP Joe Dawley from the 15-day to the 60-day disabled list. The Indians have 10 days to trade Stewart, put him on waivers or send him outright to the minors.
