Despite losing its top passer, rusher and receiver from last season's team that went unbeaten in the regular season and reached the Maryland 1A quarterfinals, Poolesville's offense has not missed a beat. In two games this season, running backs Greg Brooks and Jared Christman and quarterback Matt Ray have combined to rush for 461 yards, and Ray has added 159 yards passing for the Falcons (2-0).
