Niquan Lee scored his fourth touchdown of the game with 45 seconds left to put Delaware ahead as the Blue Hens broke several school records and defeated Maine, 43-38, in a Division I-AA game in Newark, Del.

Kyle Campbell batted down a Maine pass to the end zone as time expired.

Sonny Riccio, who led a Delaware attack that amassed 560 yards of total offense and scored six touchdowns, set school records with 33 completions, 51 pass attempts and 13 consecutive completions during the first half.

Justin Long also set a school record with 16 receptions, while his 236 yards were second all-time behind Eddie Conti's 354 yards receiving against Connecticut in 1998.

Lee also tied a school record with four rushing touchdowns, becoming the ninth Blue Hen to rush for four scores and the first since Daryl Brown in 1994. The Blue Hens (4-1, 3-0 Atlantic 10) led 37-28 with 14 minutes 44 seconds remaining after a 1-yard scoring run by Lee, but Maine quarterback Rob Whitcomb threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Christian Pereira to make the score 37-35.

After Delaware punted on its next possession, Maine (2-2, 0-1) drove to the Blue Hen 3-yard line before settling for a 21-yard field goal by Mike Mellow to take its first lead of the game at 38-37 with 7:12 remaining.
