[New York Giants at Dallas, 1 p.m.]

Number of completions Cowboys quarterback Vinny Testaverde needs to pass Joe Montana and move into sixth place on the NFL's all-time list.

Number of turnovers forced by the Giants this season, tops in the league. In 16 games last season, they totaled just 22. The Giants and Cowboys are a combined 5-2, which is certainly a surprise, but even more unexpected is the way they're getting it done.

One would expect New York to pass a lot after acquiring Kurt Warner, but the opposite has been true: The Giants are averaging 148.2 yards per game on the ground, fifth-best in the league. Running back Tiki Barber is second in the NFL with 455 rushing yards, but more importantly, he hasn't fumbled all season after dropping the ball a league-worst 35 times over the past four years.

Meantime, in Weeks 1 and 2 Dallas quarterback Vinny Testaverde became the first quarterback 40 years or older to have consecutive 300-yard passing games, and the Cowboys rank second in the league in passing at 301.3 yards per game. Testaverde has been forced to test his aging arm since Dallas's four-headed monster of a rushing game is averaging just 82.3 yards per game.
