Consecutive games in which Jaguars quarterback Byron Leftwich has thrown a touchdown pass, the longest streak in the AFC The Jaguars and Texans have played some close games since the rivalry began in 2002. Three of their four games have been decided by four points or less (the exception is Jacksonville's 27-0 win last season, the only time Houston has been shut out in its history).

But no matter how many points decide the outcome, this is a crucial game for both teams, who are stuck in a tight divisional race with the Colts. The surprising Jaguars lead the AFC South at 5-2, but Indianapolis (4-2) and Houston (3-3) are right behind them.

Both quarterbacks have been impressive. The Jags' Byron Leftwich only trails Peyton Manning for the conference lead in passing yards, and David Carr's passer rating of 97.8 is third in the AFC.

Leftwich has been airing it out more over the last three games, averaging 40.3 attempts after averaging just about half that over his first three.
