Northwest's dangerous kickoff returners have not had any opportunities lately. Since senior Salim Koroma returned the opening kickoff of the Jaguars' game against Damascus 96 yards for a touchdown on Oct. 1, no team -- including Damascus for the remainder of Northwest's 27-24 victory -- has kicked the ball deep to the Jaguars, according to Northwest Coach Randy Trivers. Teams have either squib-kicked the ball or kicked it high in the air and short, forcing Northwest up-backs to field the ball. . . .
