Howard vs. Delaware State

Trying for Winning Record: Howard, at 6-4 overall and 3-3 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, can clinch a winning record in the MEAC with a win over Delaware State. "We're both sitting with three wins, and we both want that fourth win," Howard Coach Ray Petty said. "We need this and they do, too."

A Little More Sting: Delaware State (3-7 overall) has made a nice recovery behind first-year coach Al Lavan, winning three of its past six games after starting with four consecutive losses. If the Hornets beat Howard, they'll finish with a 4-3 record in the MEAC, which would be the school's second winning mark in the league since 1995.

Honoring Seniors: Howard will honor 18 seniors during pregame ceremonies, including quarterbacks Antoine Hartfield and Marcos Moreno, tailback Jay Colbert, safety Ronald Bartell Jr. and tackle Brandon Torrey.

Georgetown vs. Holy Cross

Avoiding the Basement: The Hoyas and Crusaders enter today's finale winless in Patriot League games. Only eight teams have gone winless in a season in Patriot League games -- the Hoyas were the most recent team to do it in 2001.

Sarin Eyes Second Place: Junior tailback Kim Sarin has 882 yards rushing this season, which is the fourth-highest total in Georgetown history. He needs 20 yards to break the school's season rushing record set by Steve Iorio in 1997.

Tough Linebackers: Georgetown's linebackers are the key to the Hoyas' defensive success. Junior Mehdi Hassan, from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is the team's leading tackler with 86 stops. Sophomore Chris Paulus ranks second with 70 and senior Jason Carter is fifth with 44. The three have combined for 171/2 tackles for a loss, 4 interceptions, 4 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 3 fumble recoveries.
