Mets: Placed 2B Miguel Cairo on the 15-day DL with a strained left hamstring and called up 1B-OF Brian Daubach from Class AAA Norfolk.

Reds: 1B Sean Casey missed the Red Sox game because of a death in the family. Casey will return to the Reds tomorrow. C Jason LaRue started after returning from the bereavement list following his grandfather's funeral in Texas. C Dane Sardinha was optioned to Class AAA Louisville.
