Mariners: Recalled IF Jose Lopez from Class AAA Tacoma. Optioned 3B Greg Dobbs to Tacoma.

Rangers: Purchased the contract of RHP Jason Standridge from Class AAA Oklahoma. Designated RHP Pedro Astacio for assignment. Astacio, 35, was 2-8 with a 6.04 ERA in 12 starts for Texas. He had lost seven of his last eight decisions.

LHP C.J. Wilson, who will move into the starting rotation to replace Astacio, will make his first major league start tomorrow.

Twins: SS Juan Castro was listed as day-to-day after fouling a ball off his left ankle in Thursday's game.

Yankees: RHP Kevin Brown does not expect to be able to make his scheduled start Monday night against Tampa Bay because of back spasms. "Not unless you've got an inside line on a miracle," he said. GM Brian Cashman said Brown probably would go on the disabled list.
