Braves: RHP Chris Reitsma left the game in the ninth inning when the Brewers' J.J. Hardy hit a liner into his lower rib area. Reitsma recovered and threw out Hardy. X-rays taken of Reitsma were negative.

Cubs: OF Adam Greenberg was unavailable for the game after being hit in the head by the first pitch he faced in the major leagues in the ninth inning of Saturday's 8-2 win over the Marlins. Greenberg had a precautionary CT scan which did not reveal any significant injury.

Marlins: SS Alex Gonzalez left the game in the fifth because of tightness in his back. "It doesn't seem to be serious," Manager Jack McKeon said.

RF Juan Encarnacion did not start for the second straight game after being hit by a pitch on the left forearm just above the wrist on Friday.

Padres: Purchased the contract of RHP Pedro Astacio from Class AAA Portland and designated RHP Brian Falkenborg for assignment.
