Rangers: P RHP Ricardo Rodriguez on the 15-day DL with a bruised right shoulder and recalled LHP Erasmo Ramirez from Class AAA Oklahoma.

Devil Ray: Optioned P Dewon Brazelton to Class AAA Durham and recalled RHP Tim Corcoran from the same club.

Brazelton was 1-8 with a 6.85 ERA in 18 games, including eight starts. He had 57 walks compared to 40 strikeouts in 681/3 innings.

Corcoran spent two weeks with the Devil Rays in June, going 0-0 with a 2.25 ERA in two appearances. He had 29 outings with Durham, all in relief, going 5-1 with a 2.89 ERA.

He is one of seven rookies on Tampa Bay's 25-man roster.
