Dec. 25: Arrested and jailed for 11 days in Aruba after assaulting a judge during an altercation on a beach.

Jan. 21: Pulled over by the Florida Highway patrol in Fort Lauderdale for traveling 85 mph in a 65-mph zone. Ponson failed a sobriety test and refused to take a breathalyzer exam. His license was immediately revoked. With the case still pending, Ponson was issued a temporary license that allows him to drive to and from work. "You guys [reporters] make such a big deal about everything," Ponson said.

March 22: Injured his hand slightly in an altercation with an apparently intoxicated diner at a Fort Lauderdale, Fla., restaurant. The police were called, but no arrests were made and no police report filed.

Aug. 25: Stopped by Maryland Transportation Authority Police for tailgating on I-95 south of Baltimore. Charged with driving under the influence and driving while impaired. At the station, he refused a breath test, which carries an automatic 120-day suspension of his license for a first offense.
