New York Giants at New Orleans, Tomorrow, 7:30 p.m. [WJLA-7; coverage switches to ESPN at 9 p.m.]
This matchup is listed as a home game for New Orleans, and musicians such as Harry Connick Jr. and Branford Marsalis will be on hand to provide some Big Easy flavor, but Saints wide receiver Joe Horn, for one, is acutely aware he'll be playing at Giants Stadium. "It's cool. But don't get me wrong, the New York Giants are still playing a home game," Horn said.
Horn and his teammates can take some comfort in the fact that they have done better on the road than at home in recent years. The Saints are 14-11 away from home, including a Week 1 win at Carolina, over the past three seasons, compared to 12-12 at the Superdome. In addition, the Giants are no terrors at their eponymous edifice, going 10-15 over the same span, including a Week 1 home win against the Cardinals but not including a win two years ago 'at' the co-tenant Jets.
With all that going for them, plus the "Saintsations" cheerleading crew on their sideline, the Saints shouldn't feel too nervous.
