A week after Robinson handed visiting Westfield its only loss, Westfield got even. Or rather, got Evan, as in Royster, who ran for 221 yards and three touchdowns in the surprisingly lopsided win.

No. 2 Hylton 12, Woodbridge 7
Hylton trailed in the second half for the first time this season, but Woodbridge couldn't hold on thanks to six turnovers. One of those gave Hylton possession at the Vikings 16-yard line in the fourth quarter, and Courtney Anderson punched in the go-ahead score from a yard out shortly thereafter.

No. 18 Stone Bridge 21, Madison 17
On fourth and one from the Madison 2 with 20 seconds left, Stone Bridge Coach Mickey Thompson eschewed a possible game-tying field goal and went for the win. After an offside call, Terrence Glenn scored on a quarterback keeper.
Maryland 4A South Semifinal
No. 14 C.H. Flowers 13, Eleanor Roosevelt 12
C.H. Flowers gave visiting Roosevelt a chance to win when it fumbled in its own territory late in fourth quarter. But Roosevelt's try for a game-winning 24-yard field goal with 39 seconds left was foiled by a bad snap.
Maryland 3A South Semifinal
Lackey 21, No. 13 Friendly 19
In Friday's most controversial ending, Lackey escaped with the victory when Friendly QB Joe Haden appeared to fumble as he tried to score from the 1 on the last play of the game. Friendly coaches believed Haden had crossed the line, but Lackey emerged with the ball -- and the victory.
Maryland 3A West Semifinal
No. 11 Seneca Valley 45, No. 10 Urbana 39 (3 OT)
For the second time in five years, Seneca Valley and Urbana put on a three-overtime show in the playoffs. But unlike in 2001, Seneca Valley won this battle on Shawn Perry's fifth touchdown of the game.
