Eyes of March:The Terrapins have revitalized their season with four consecutive conference victories, including two on the road. A victory tomorrow would almost certainly clinch their first trip to the NCAA tournament since 2004. Meantime, the Tar Heels' concern will be holding on to the No. 1 seed they once seemed virtually ensured of. Losses to North Carolina State and Virginia Tech in their past six games have weakened that grip at least a little.
Striking a Balance:Maryland has received contributions from players throughout the lineup during its resurgence, but particularly important has been the freshman point guard tandem of Greivis Vasquez and Eric Hayes and the leadership of D.J. Strawberry, who has averaged 15 points and five rebounds during the current winning streak.

Big, Indeed:The Big Ten's top two teams -- dare we say only two teams this season -- meet with a No. 1 seed at stake, both in the league tournament and likely in the NCAA tournament. The Buckeyes, who have won 12 straight since losing in Madison on Jan. 9, throw the youth of freshman Greg Oden against the experience of Badgers senior Alando Tucker.
