Faster, higher, stronger? McDonald’s goes for bigger

What’s 32,000 square feet, two stories and has 1,500 seats? The McDonald’s that will be in the Olympic Park in London.

The fast food chain will be building four temporary outlets on the site, including one in the athletes’ village. The company has been an Olympics sponsor since 1976.

This comes at a time when Ronald McDonald himself is being assailed by health-care professionals. Meantime, Olympic hopefuls in training can keep track of their calories and fat in their fast-food meals here.
