Vice President Biden to file Obama 2012 paperwork in N.H.

Perhaps you’ve heard: President Obama is running for re-election.

Obama’s running mate, Vice President Joe Biden, will make it (more) official Thursday when he files campaign paperwork for Obama 2012 at the New Hampshire state house.

That state will hold the nation’s first Republican presidential primary in a couple months. New Hampshire will be viewed as a swing state for Democrats and Republicans in the general election, and Biden’s trip marks the first campaign visit for him or Obama this election cycle.

Biden will also tout the president’s American Jobs Act at Plymouth State University and will attend a campaign fundraising event at a private residence in the evening.

Obama 2012 made its intentions official in the spring when it filed re-election papers with the Federal Election Commission.
