The Davis-Cuccinelli axis

Former Rep. Tom Davis is helping Ken Cuccinelli’s PAC raise money. It doesn’t mean Davis will support Cuccinelli for governor over Bill Bolling, but it does lead to some interesting speculation from Chris Beers on what would make such an alliance not only practical but inevitable.

Unlike Chris, I would not paint the Cuccinelli-Bolling contest as a battle between NoVa and RoVa. That makes for good reading, but it gives “Richmond” far too much credit for just about everything.

Though if one really wants to know where the power is in this town, ignore the General Assembly, the banks, the lobby shops and all the law firms. It can be found at the Tuckahoe Woman’s Club.

Because there is no power under heaven greater than that of a proper Southern lady.
