That question, of course, is predicated on the widely held belief that people will be waiting forever today to get their first taste of Shake Shack in Washington. It’s a logical thought given customers will wait for ungodly periods at the original location in Madison Square Park.

But at 10 this morning there was only Andy Lomeli , who had been there since 8:30 a.m, reading and working and waiting for the doors to swing wide at 11 a.m. All We Can Eat interrupted his vigil to ask a few questions.
