At Thursday’s FreshFarm Market in Penn Quarter, Sandhill Farm, Toigo Orchards and Black Rock Orchard will have strawberries.
At Thursday’s FreshFarm Market by the White House, Bigg Riggs Farm will have sweet cherries; Spring Valley Farm and Orchard will have cauliflower, both purple and cheddar, zucchini and sugar snap peas; Pleasant Pops will have green tea and strawberry-ginger-lemonade popsicles; Clear Spring Creamery will have fresh butter.
At Friday’s Smart Market in Centreville, Uncle Fred’s BBQ will have pulled smoked pork and chicken, smoked brisket and baby back and spare ribs; Jose’s Produce will have green beans and broccoli; Tyson’s Farm will have cherries and strawberries; Betty’s Chips and Salsa will have hot sauces; Trickling Springs Creamery will have dairy products, including ice cream.
At Saturday’s Smart Market in Oakton, Uncle Fred’s BBQ will have pulled smoked pork and chicken, smoked brisket, baby back ribs and spare ribs; Angelic Beef and Il Bastone Gourmet Foods will have grilling meats.
At Saturday’s Mount Pleasant Farmers Market , Earth Spring Farm will have lettuce, chard, mustard, kale, radishes and kohlrabi; Pleasant Pops will have three kinds of strawberry pops; Truck Patch Farms will have spinach, squash, squash blossoms, mesclun, arugula, Swiss chard, kale, red beets, golden beets and chioggia beets, asparagus, spring onions, chives, garlic chives, mint, chocolate mint, pork and eggs; Richfield Farm will have sugar snap peas, fennel, squash, strawberries, asparagus, lettuce, greens, radishes, spring onions and peonies; Groff’s Content Farm will have chicken, lamb, beef, pork and sausages; Cherry Glen Goat Cheese Co. will have chevre, ricotta and brie; Atwater’s Bakery will have baguettes and scones; Quaker Valley Orchards will have have strawberries, asparagus, jam and honey; Reid’s Orchard & Winery will have sugar snap peas and strawberries.
At Saturday’s FreshFarm Market in Silver Spring, Spring Valley Farm and Orchard will have greenhouse tomatoes, purple, cheddar and white cauliflowers and French filet (haricot vert) green beans; Spiral Path Farm will have organic greenhouse tomatoes, strawberries and chard; Blue Ridge Dairy Co. will have creme fraiche ($5 per 8 ounce tub) and mascarpone.
At Saturday’s H Street NE FreshFarm Market, Blueberry Hill Vegetables will have garlic scapes ($3 per bunch); Richfield Farm will have varieties of summer squash, sugar snap peas and fava beans; Garden Path Farms will have ground turkey and ground chicken ($8 per pound).

At Sunday’s Bloomingdale Farmers Market, Painted Hand Farm will have goat bacon, goat chorizo, rose veal scaloppine, Pennsylvania-farmed rainbow trout smoked with apple and hickory; North Mountain Pastures will have guanciale and prosciutto, pastured chicken and eggs, kimchi and other pickled vegetables and three kinds of bacon; Keswick Creamery will have tommes washed in local beers, feta cheese, cheddars, quark, ricotta and yogurt; Copper Pot Food Co. will have Italian-style meatballs, basil pesto English pea soup, watercress soup and duck ravioli; SnowBear Farm will have garlic scapes, snow peas, sugar snap peas, iceburg lettuce, Simpson’s lettuce, broccoli rabe, parsnips, kohlrabi, baby collards, radishes, mustards, kales, garlic chives and scallions; Truck Patch Farms will have bacon, pastured pork steaks, ribs, chops and sausages.

At Tuesday’s FreshFarm Market in Crystal City, Richfield Farm will have beets, cherry tomatoes, blueberries and fava beans; Barajas Produce will have sweet bell peppers and jalapeno peppers; Coulter Farms will have beef franks and sausages; Kuhn Orchards will have raspberries.
At Wednesday’s FreshFarm Market in Foggy Bottom, Blueberry Hill Vegetables will have cabbage, zucchini and mulberries; Quaker Valley Orchards will have snow peas and peonies.
At Wednesday’s Health and Human Services FreshFarm Market, Three Springs Farm will have strawberries and Fuji apple cider; Garner’s Produce will have cabbage and squash blossoms; Quarter Branch Farm will have baby carrots and head lettuce.
At Wednesday’s Smart Market in Reston, Tyson’s Farm will have peaches; Angelic Beef and Martin’s Angus Beef, and the Rappahannock Natural Foods Co-op and Heritage Farm and Kitchen will have grilling meats.
Thursday’s Smart Market at Manassas, is cancelled until the academic year begins at George Mason University’s Prince William campus.
At Saturday’s FreshFarm Market in Silver Spring, chef Pedro Matamoros of 8407 Kitchen Bar will demonstrate grilled goat skewers with grilled vegetables and tomato harissa sauce.
At Saturday’s FreshFarm Market in Bethesda, Diane Welland, author of “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Eating Local,” will do a chef demonstration and sign copies of her book.
At Sunday’s FreshFarm Market in Dupont Circle , chef Brian McBride of Blue Duck Tavern will perform a cooking demonstration at 11 a.m.
