The 20-foot-long, 700-pound sculpture, created by Indian designer Ayush Kasliwal , was installed on Saturday, a couple of weeks after the restaurant opened in late March. It’s in place over a beverage station next to the wine rack, but it sort of looms over the dining room with its welcoming energy.

“Good food is important,” says Bajaj. “Aesthetics and ambiance are equally important, because otherwise you could eat good food at home.”

More photos of the stainless-steel-and-fiberglass sculpture are after the jump.
