The Fancy Food Show: live Tweets from the Food section

We’re getting all fancy this weekend. Well, we’re trying so-called fancy food, anyway. That’s because the Fancy Food Show is coming to town, offering upstart (and not-so-upstart) makers of all manner of comestibles the chance to find a market for their products.

As Tim Carman wrote recently, the show can be a manufacturer’s fast track to the retail world. And as Bonnie Benwick wrote, the show is not open to the general public, but rather is aimed at helping members of the trade make connections.

Since you can’t be there, we’ll be your eyes, ears and, most importantly, taste buds. All three of us are hitting the show floor on Sunday and will live tweet our impressions. Follow us after the jump.

Joe Yonan is the Food and Dining editor of The Washington Post and the author of "Eat Your Vegetables: Bold Recipes for the Single Cook." He writes the Food section's Weeknight Vegetarian column.
