“Liz & Dick” : A Twitter romance

After months of publicity and Lindsay Lohan interviews, “Liz & Dick” finally premiered Sunday night. The reviews leading up to the event were less than enthusiastic ( including one from our own ‘Washington Post” Celebritologist), but the Twitter countdowns were full of excitement. Even Lohan herself, was ready to live-tweet the night away.

While Lohan was busy answering questions, others on Twitter were filling their feeds with the similarities between Lohan and Taylor, the accents, the costumes, the love scenes, the drinking and the co-stars.

I’ve an unhealthy level of excitement for #lizanddick. Treating w/the reverence usually reserved for an old-school 70’s “television event.”

To be fair though, the costumes are really quite lovely. And LiLo’s hair is very nice. #LizAndDick
