Probably not the two-step at National Dance Day

The celebration of National Dance Day, scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday at the Sylvan Theater, will feature a number of professional dancers. And the rest of the wanna-be “So You Think You Can Dance” enthusiasts from the region.

Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy, who are partly responsible for the whole craze, the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders, the tapping Manzari Brothers, the Dizzy Feet Foundation, Olympic champ Michelle Kwan and actress Chasity Saunders have lined up, Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-D.C.) announced. Also represented will be the Larry King Cardiac Foundation, Gev Manoukian and radio personality Jeannie Jones.

Here’s where to practice the steps for the flash mob event.

And watch the talented Gev!
