Virgin Mobile Free Fest takes over Merriweather Post Pavilion

The gates open at Merriweather Post Pavilion at 11 a.m. for this year’s Virgin Mobile Free Fest, the annual, all-day mega-concert featuring Skrillex , (pictured below), Jack White, ZZ Top, Nas, the Dismemberment Plan, Santigold and many more.

Three last-minute tips: Try to get there early enough to catch Volta Bureau (their recent Black Cat gig was great), bring enough cash (I paid a $4 ATM fee at Merriweather earlier this week) and follow me right here on Twitter for Free Fest updates throughout the day (it might be great and it definitely doesn’t cost $4).

See you out there.
