Jennifer Rubin’s retweet: Post ombudsman weighs in

Some readers were upset when opinion writer Jennifer Rubin, who pens The Post’s Right Turn blog, retweeted a controversial tweet from independent blogger Rachel Abrams.

Abrams’ tweet referenced the release of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit and linked to a blog post that some felt contained racism and anti-Palestinian hate speech.

Post ombudsman Patrick Pexton offers his take in this week’s Post Roast, noting that he agrees with critics who felt that Rubin was wrong to seemingly endorse Abrams’ encendiary blog post with her retweet.

What do you think? Should Rubin have retweeted Abrams?
