“Call Me Maybe” covered by American troops in Afghanistan

As if it wasn’t enough that the Cookie Monster and Olympic swimmers have covered “Call Me Maybe,” now American troops in Afghanistan have created their own rendition of the ubiquitous Carly Rae Jepsen song.

U.S. Army infantry soldiers in Kunar Province, Afghanistan, said they did it as a “morale boost for our soldiers here and our families ... back home.”

Because they miss their loved ones so bad ... and they should know that.
