The Iraq war veteran became a rallying point for the protests, as an example of excessive police force. Now, in two new video interviews, Olsen speaks about his injury and his resolve to continue the protest.

Olsen returned to the Occupy Oakland camp over the weekend and spoke to Indybay.org and USA Today. In the videos, Olsen speaks haltingly. He said his voice disappeared after his injury. Olsen says he participating in the protests as part of his political stance against the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Watch his interviews here.
