(Meet the Internet’s newest cash cow.)

The wave of attention arrived quickly -- in part because of Sheen’s fondness for sites such as TMZ.com and Twitter -- and has turned the world’s most famous unemployed actor into the Internet’s newest cash cow. As the Atlantic first noted, companies such as Arby’s, Ford and Audi were all willing to pay to play off Sheen’s oft-used #WINNING, purchasing time to promote their wares with the hash tag.

Now, Sheen’s #TIGERBLOOD is picking up traction, and a new type of advertising has emerged.

Rapper Diddy first tried to get in on the trend, tweeting the recipe for a #TIGERBLOOD cocktail -- featuring his CÎROC vodka, of course -- over the weekend.

But others have imagined Tiger Blood as more savory than sweet. A recipe from liquor company TY KU calls for a dash of wasabi. Another, from Chicago bar Longman & Eagle, features bourbon and bitters. (L&E quickly clarified that it does not condone Sheen’s past “violent actions.”)

Sheen hasn’t commented on any version of the concoction yet -- he says he’s sober, after all -- but he’s still making making money off #TIGERBLOOD. Internships.com appears to have paid Sheen an undisclosed amount to to seek out a #TigerBlood intern on his infamous Twitter feed. According to the Associated Press, micro-endorsements can net a celebrity anywhere from $1,000 to the low five figures per tweet, with ad.ly’s top celebrities earning about $10,000 per tweet.

The buzz is palpable, but not everyone is enchanted with Sheen. Today, on International Women’s Day, there’s a movement to forget him.

Either way, when will this craze end? It’s impossible to tell. But if you want the madness to stop ahead of time (or before an inevitable tragedy, whichever comes first), you can eradicate Sheen from your Internet life by installing a handy browser plugin. In seconds, you can be #WINNING and #TIGERBLOOD-free.

But, obviously, there’s no fun in that.
